Database Inclusion Branch Notes

In the near future, there will be a new Protege 3.4 beta release that will have some significant new functionality. Three of the main new items are

• Database inclusion. We now will be able to have database projects include other database projects.
• New Improved OWL Parser. The protege owl parse has been overhauled and now runs significantly faster.
• Improved OWL namespace management. The version of namespace management used in previous versions of Protege 3.4 has been overhauled and replaced with a much better version that is less intrusive and gives the user the ability to control how namespaces work.

We anticipate that plugin develoers will have to make some changes to work with the new version of Protege 3.4 so we have create the Database Inclusion Plugin Devlopers Notes page.
