Degree in Medicine from the Universidade Federal Fluminense (1978 ), specialization in Hospital Administration from PUC - RJ (1987) and Systems Analysis at IBPI (1988). Masters degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2001) and PhD in Public Health at the Institute of Social Medicine, UERJ (2007) when they held a doctorate in Microsimulation Modelling and Data Analysis Division - MSDAD, the Ministry of Health Canada. There he worked with forecasting models for Human Resources for Health (HRH) developing new methodology in Brazil. Researcher at the National School of Public Health Sergio Arouca, Oswaldo Cruz Foundation since 2000, where in addition to the teaching and research activities was a member of the Research Ethics Committee from 2008 to 2011. He served as deputy coordinator of the Professional Master in Management of Labor and Education in Health, from 2008 to 2012 and as coordinator of the Professional Masters Program of Public Health, ENSP, 2011-2013. His professional experience includes expertise in the areas of Vascular and Angiology, Health Informatics, Health Surveillance and Public Health with emphasis on Job, Work and Health Training and Public Health Informatics. His current activities are teaching and research in Public Health Informatics, Health Informatics, Modeling and analysis of data and databases in health.
