I am particularly interested in novel directions in Knowledge Engineering and Bioinformatics that can benefit from application of these fields of Mathematics.<br /> <br /> My current research activities are concerned with logical and algebraic methods of terminological reasoning, modular representation of theories, and distributed reasoning techniques for Description Logics.</div>
